Honor Code Info Session and Staff Positions!



Dear Honors Students,


The University Honors Program is seeking students to serve as The Honor Code Magazine Staff for the 2019-2020 academic year.


The Honor Code is a magazine by and for the students of University Honors that showcases student and alumni achievement and research, event highlights, and study abroad experiences. The Honor Code strives to capture the essence of the students in UHP, from their likes and dislikes to their goals and hard work. With a staff comprised exclusively of Honors students, we work to create an authentic representation of the distinctive beauty and complexity that is the UHP student body.



We are looking for the following positions:

· Assistant Editor-in-Chief

· Staff Writer

· Designer

· Online Editor

· Online Writer

· Photographer


If you are interested in a position and would like more information, please attend our Honor Code Info Session on Monday, April 29th from 3:30-4:00 PM - LIB 507


If you are applying to be an Assistant Editor-in-Chief you will be need to share your interests, share what you are hoping to gain from this leadership experience, past skills or experiences that are applicable to this position, as well as provide a sample of your writing in the application link. This can include a blog post, essay, article, or other form of writing. 


If you are applying to be a Staff Writer or Online Writer please provide a sample of your writing in the application link. This can include a blog post, essay, article, or other form of writing. 


If you are applying to be an Online Editor, Designer, or Photographer, please briefly explain your past (if any) experience with the position and why you would be a good candidate in the application link. You may include links or upload samples of past works if applicable. Personal blogs and social media accounts are applicable.
