Who inspires you?

One of the people in my life who inspires me is my grandfather. He fled from his home country during revolution and civil unrest and started a new life in a country when he didn't speak the language. He worked hard to get an education and raise a family, and was really successful and happy. Although he passed away unexpectedly before I was born, I heard about him from stories my mother told me throughout my life. I strive to do well in my studies as a way to honor him and his passion for education.

What are you most passionate about?

I'm most passionate about helping others, as well as learning about their other cultures and stories. It fascinates me hearing about different experiences and it helps deepen my knowledge of the world.

What are your favorite hobbies?

My hobbies include playing lacrosse, going thrifting with friends, reading books, listening to music on my record player, and drinking an insane amount of sparkling water

Why did you join the Honor Code?

I joined the Honor code as a way to pursue my passion for journalism, as well as a way to help give back to the honors community!
