Why did you join Honor Code?

I joined Honor Code because I enjoy writing! One of my regrets in high school was not participating in the school newspaper. So, I made a promise to myself that I would take part in some sort of newspaper/magazine/writing organization in college. When I learned about Honor Code, I knew I had to apply. Honor Code is the writing opportunity I was looking for. I love how we get to focus on the Honors community, thus creating a more intimate environment within the larger CSULB community.

What’s your favorite way to unwind?

My favorite way to unwind is by cooking daily. It refreshes me to get away from the computer screen and create different dishes. I have fun planning the week’s menu and then going to the grocery store to pick out the ingredients.
